Family Services are provided by a nurse, social worker, and family resources coordinators. Individual parent counseling is available at Boyer and at home. There are parent discussion groups and guest speakers. Other activities are planned based upon parent request.

Many families provide their own transportation. Boyer Children’s Clinic attempts to arrange transportation for any child who has no other means of attending.

Fees are charged based on ability to pay after consideration of other resources. When determining the source(s) for payment of our services, the family’s eligibility for third party payments, such as medical insurance, Dept. of Health, Medicaid, and Division of Developmental Disabilities from the State of Washington and Part C of IDEA are thoroughly explored. Many medical insurance companies require a referral before services can begin. No child, however, is denied services because of their parent’s inability to pay.
